Subject: Temporary Closure of the Dome Louis-Riel
We regret to inform you that the Dome Louis-Riel is temporarily closed until further notice due to some damage to the fabric.
Impact on the Dome Operations:
- At this time, it is too early to determine the duration of this closure. Our teams are currently assessing the extent of the repairs required . We will provide an update as soon as we have more information to share.
We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure the situation is restored as soon as possible.

Objet: Fermeture du Dôme Louis-Riel
Nous tenons à vous informer que le Dôme Louis-Riel sera fermé jusqu’à nouvel ordre en raison de dommages à la toile survenus récemment.
Impact sur le fonctionnement du Dôme
- Pour le moment, il est trop tôt pour déterminer la durée de cette fermeture. Nos équipes s’affairent présentement à évaluer l’étendue des réparations requises. Nous vous tiendrons informés de la suite des choses lorsque nous aurons plus d’informations à partager.
Nous sommes désolés des inconvénients et vous assurons que nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que la situation soit rétablie dans les plus brefs délais.
The Dome @ Louis Riel offers: a multidisciplinary sports field of 105 x 48 m with high-quality artificial grass that can be divided into three fields of 35 x 48 m; a 400 m track with a coating in « Mondo »; including six lanes 120m; and including designated areas for jumping, four locker rooms, and free parking for 270 cars.

Due to the heavy snowfall, the activities at the Dome LR are cancelled from February 14 to 17, 2025. Only the Track and Field competition scheduled for February 15, 2025 will proceed, but with a modified schedule.

- A multisport court for Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, and Futsal
- A « Mondo » track with four 400m lanes and six straight 120m lanes;
- Mondo covered areas for jumps;
- A weight room
- Four locker rooms with showers;
- 270 free parking spaces.
